If you click the instructor's name above, you probably wonder why it's just a picture. At least you know how he looks like now. The professor has been very cautious about his online existence and personal privacy, so he has been extremely invisible virtually. You can take a look how others rated his class here, and this might be his LinkedIn profile (don't count me on this).
Anyway, let's put our focus on the course. This is an introductory, easy A, elective course from MBA. Most of my summer classmates were MBA students with full-time job during the day time. This was actually wonderful to me because this class did not have any analytical assignment. Three major tasks accounting for 600 out of 650 points were a group project, a group case study analysis, and a take-home final exam. Additionally, students just needed to find 3 sources related to MIS, and answer one or two questions in class to earn the rest 50 points for our online and in person participation. So EASY, right?
No need to worry about the case study, and the group project report plus its presentation. You would work with the MBA students, who has been long known for their capability of talking and writing long essays. As long as students don't screw up their take-home final exam, this is definitely an easy A subject for everyone.
In short, if you desire to make your GPA higher effortlessly, this course taught by this instructor is certainly a good option. However, students may feel they waste their money after passing this class. Ultimately, it is your choice.
